Alma J. Stewart

Biography:  Alma J. Stewart, 77, of Oceola passed away on Sunday May 25, 2014 at Med Central Mansfield following an extended illness.  Alma was born July 22, 1936 in Oak Hill, OH to the late Laffieott and Hetta Alta (Cook) Rawlins.  She was married to Cecil W. Stewart who preceded her in death Jan. 4, 1986.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Debra;  grandchildren Jeffrey, Dane, Ryan, and Adrian, as well as siblings Howard, James, and Hilda.
Alma is survived by children Ken (Anna) Stewart, Nevada; Darryld (Sherri) Stewart, Oceola;  and Cindy (Willard “Geno”) Lee of Crestline; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one sister Mervel Ramsey of Bucyrus.
Alma was retired from Swan Rubber in 1996 after working 26 years.  She lived most of her life in this area, was a member of Oceola Pentecostal Church and loved her children and grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1:00 pm in the Oceola Pentecostal Church with Rev. Carl Angel officiating, burial will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am on Wednesday until the time of services.  Memorials may be made to the Pentecostal Church and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
