Biography: A. Roger Frost, 85 of Bucyrus passed away on Monday December 21, 2020 at home following an extended illness. Roger was born May 30, 1935 in Kenton, OH to the late Arthur Albert "Al" and Betty Jane (Hastings) Frost. He was married July 28, 1957 to Norma (Longbrake) Frost who survives along with daughters Debbie (Phil) Lazar and Kathy Frost both of Bucyrus; grandchildren Chris (Misty), Jerred (Summer), Josh (Michelle), Patrick (Hannah), and Lauren (Kyle), great grandchildren Ashton, Marlie, Mia, Gunner, Camden, Layna, Bronson, Duke, and Shep; brother Russell Frost and sister Judy (Torch) Kinney both of Kenton, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Roger graduated from Kenton High School in 1953 and joined the U.S. Army. He moved to Bucyrus in 1959 and worked on the former New York Central RR (Conrail) for 30 years. Roger last worked for the Budd Co. in Carey for 15 years and retired in 2000.
Roger was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Bucyrus and the Latham Masonic Blue Lodge #154 in Kenton. Roger held numerous positions with the Bucyrus Elks Lodge #156. He was a life member, secretary for 33 years, Past Exalted Ruler, and Past District Deputy for the N.C. District.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday December 28, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Gary Schiefer officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice, Alzheimer's Association or the Crawford Co.
