Walter H. (Bob) Wellman, formerly of Lucasville, Ohio, most recently of Bucyrus, Ohio died Thursday at his residence. He was born January 26, 1925 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Luther and Jettie (Moore) Wellman. Also preceding him in death was a son, Robert (Bob) Wellman. Bob is survived by two sons, John Wellman and his wife Valerie of Bucyrus, and Shannon Lambert of Garland, Texas. A daughter, Vicki Wellman of Bucyrus, seven stepchildren, nine grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

Bob graduated from Valley High School in Lucasville, Ohio. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran. Bob was employed as a Machinist at Ingersoll-Rand in Garland, Texas for 20 years. Bob was a Life member of the VFW, Garland, Texas. He was also an avid fisherman.

Friends may call Sunday from 5-8pm at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home in Bucyrus, Ohio. services will be held Monday at the funeral home at 1pm.
