Ruth I. Foght, 91, formerly of Bucyrus, died unexpectedly Thursday morning in Galion Community Hosptial. She was born July 1, 1918 in Crawford County to Ilo and Gladys (Orre) Campbell both deceased. On August 6, 1939, she married Thornton D. Foght who died May 26, 1980. Also preceding her in death are Brothers Charles and Bill Campbell, and Sisters Kathryn Goeller and Betty Jane Haala.

Ruth is survived by Her Brother Jack A. Campbell of Galion, many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins, Sisters-in-Law Emma Louie Campbell of Bradenton FL, Joyce Campbell of Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada, and her extended family of Staff and Residents residents at MagnoliaTerrace Assisted living in Galion.

For many years she worked in retail stores as a Clerk retiring in 1978. A Lifelong resident of this area, she graduated from Holmes Liberty High School Class of 1937. A Member of the Women of the Moose Bucyrus Chaper #741, she was also a Member of card and garden clubs, and was an active participant in activities at Magnolia Terrace.

Friends may call at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Saturday from 11AM until 1PM when services will be held. Officiating will be Pastor Joseph Cole. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
