Oscar "Dave" Zornes, 64 of Bucyrus died early Saturday in MedCentral Hospital Mansfield following a long illness. He was born August 5, 1945 in Findlay to Oscar and Christine (Parker) Zornes both deceased. Also preceding him in death are Sisters Pat Smith and Margaret Miller. On August 5, 1996 he married Rosemary Musselman who survives.
Also surviving are Cousins Fran and Bub Zornes and several Nieces and Nephews. He had worked at the Trailmoblie Corp in Illinois, then became a home handyman, was a talanted wood worker, artistist painter, did leatherwork, played guitar with several bands, was a huge Roy Rogers fan, and served 2 terms with the Marines in Viet Nam. He was a Member of the Kaler Avenue Church of Christ, and American Legion Post #181.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home where services will be held Wednesday at 10:30AM with Pastor Bob Jividen officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery with Military Rites by American Legion Post #181. Rosemary is very grateful for help from Cambridge Home Care Nurses and Nurses Aides, for all their help, and to their friends for their help.
