Owen F. Clem, 80 of Newark and formerly of Bucyrus died Sunday morning Nov. 22, 2009 at the Inn at Sharonbrooke in Newark.

Born August 14, 1929 in Bucyrus, he was the son of the late Joseph and Celesta (Angene) Clem.
Owen was a Boy and Eagle scout, graduated from Bucyrus High School and later from Heidelburg College. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. Owen was employed with the federal government from 1953-1959 and was transferred to Dayton Air Force Base until 1962. He retired from in the Newark Air Force Base in 1989 and had been a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ of Bucyrus.
Surviving is a cousin Larry Harer and wife Jill of Newark and friend Bill Skinner of Bucyrus.

Private Graveside service will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Bucyrus.
