Martha J. Jones 68, of Bucyrus died Saturday evening at her residence following a 3 month illness. She was born August 9, 1941 in Butler Ohio to Stanley C and Marie (Horn) Atherton both deceased. Also preceding her in death are Daughter Wanda Pamer, Brother Robert Atherton, and Sister Mary Fife. On June 24, 1981 she married Robert F. Jones who survives.

Also surviving are Her Daughter Sharon (Randy) Barney of Mansfield, Son William C ( Vicky) Frazee of Crestline, numerous Grand and Great Grandchildren, Brothers Kenneth (Audrey) Atherton of Mt Vernon, Richard Atherton-McPeek of Edison OH, Melvin (Lucy) Atherton of Mansfield, Sisters Sarah (Virgil) Stamper of Olive Hill KY, Beverly (Carlos) Brown of Danville OH, Dorothy (Paul) Smith of Howard OH, Nina Atherton of GA, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews

Martha had been employed at Geauga Plastics over 34 years in various areas of the plant. She attended Victory in Truth Ministires, a former Member of the Women of the Moose Bucyrus Chapter 741 having held all the Offices of the Chapter, did volunteer work with the Salvation Army, and enjoyed Crochetting.

Friends may call at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8 where Services will be held Thursday at 10:30AM. Minister Terry Sparks will officiate with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
