Mary Alice Clark, 79, of Bucyrus died Tuesday morning March 30, 2010 at Altercare of Bucyrus from complications from a recent stroke.
She was born February 4, 1931 in rural Crawford County and was the daugther of the late Ralph and Ruth (Shawk) Lahman.

On June 19, 1974 she married Merrill Clark and he preceded her in death on August 13, 1997. Mary is also preceded in death by two sisters; Hilda Mewhortor and Dorothy Sutter, three brothers; Glade, Dwight and Elwood Lahman.

She is survived by three children; daughter Linda (Roger) Bloomfield, daughter Diana (Darle) Miller all of Bucyrus, son Larry (Tina) Beattie of Fayetteville, North Carolina, three step-children Stacy Gashert, Vickie Sexton both of Indiana, William Clark of Bucyrus, 9 Grandchildren; Sonya Young of Bucyrus, Mitchell Bloomfield of Columbus, Chad (Sonja) Utz of El Paso, TX., Travis (Christina) Utz of Okinawa, Japan, Judy (Ryan) Risner of Wuetland, KY., Dale (Kathy) Heavener of N. Carolina, Chris (Hannah) Heavener of Florida, Penny Guthrie of California, Lisa (Ed) Davis of Mississippi, 8 Great Grandchildren; Emily Young and her father Wayland Young both of Bucyrus, Tory & Evan Utz of Deaver, Colorado, Kade & Mercedes Utz of Japan, Nathan Risner of Shreveport, LA., Cody & Alec Risner of Wurtland, KY., one great great grandchild Jadan Risner, a brother Loren (Deanna) Lahman of Bucyrus, a sister-in-law Lucille Lahman of Oklahoma and a brother-in-law Wayne (Chris) Clark of LaRue, Ohio.

Mary attended Lykens school and lived in the area her entire life. She worked at the former North Electric in Galion for a short time but was mostly a homemaker. Mary was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, enjoyed playing the organ and piano, sewing, gardening and especially her grandchildren.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home where services will be Friday April 2, 2010 at 10AM with Pastor Don Kraps officiating.
