Mary Louise "Mitzi". Arnold,  of 1575 Whestone St., Bucyrus passed away on Wednesday May 26, 2010  at home after a lengthy illness of aortic stenosis and resulting congestive heart failure. 

Mitzi was born Sunday Dec. 8, 1929 in Bucyrus.  She was the third daughter of the late Louis and Elizabeth M. (Galitza) Cook.  Raised in Bucyrus, she was a graduate of Bucyrus High School in 1948.  On Mothers Day May 14, 1950 she married Lowell W. Arnold who preceded her in death on January 19, 2001.  Mitzi worked at Timken from 1950 until her daughter's birth in 1961.  She had various jobs ending at Heartland of Bucyrus where she retired in 1988.
Mrs. Arnold enjoyed cutting grass, planting a garden and doing yardwork with her husband.  Mitzi also enjoyed cooking and sewing.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Bucyrus.

Mitzi is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Arnold of Bucyrus and a nephew Robert Lyons of Tarpon Springs, FL.  She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 sisters Eleanor Hammond and Elizabeth "Betty" Lyons, both of Bucyrus.

  Friends may call at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Friday May 28, 2010 where the family will receive friends from 4-7 pm.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am in the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. John Cory officiating, burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
