Kara L. Delaney-Snyder, a lifelong Bucyrus resident, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday at 5:49 pm while in OSU Hospital, Columbus. Kara's death was unexpected following complications from illness. She was born in Bucyrus on April 14, 1980 to Rodney J. Delaney and Kathryn (Waller) Reynolds, both of Bucyrus.

In addition to her parents, Kara is survived by husband Luke Snyder of Belle Center, OH; daughter Madison Snyder, Bucyrus; step mother Diane Delaney; step father Brian Nye; Maternal Grandparents Ray and Wilma Waller, Bucyrus; brothers Jesse (Monique) Delaney, Bucyrus; Rodney (Angie) Delaney, Bucyrus; 1/2 brothers Mike and Nick Delaney of Virginia; nieces Paige and Tabitha; nephews Zach and Weston; mother and father in law Steve and Joanne Snyder, Bellefontaine; as well as numerous aunts and uncles. Kara was preceded in death by grandparents Harry and Shirley Delaney.

For several years Kara was an assistant to Dr. Drew at Marion Smith Clinic. She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1998 and TEC Technical College in Columbus in 2000 as a Medical Assistant, she was Valedictorian. A lifelong member of the Church of God, Kara was also a member of the YMCA and an Ambassador for Lifeline of Ohio as an organ donor.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 am in the Church of God with Rev. Ernest Surgener officiating, burial will be in Brokensword Cemetery. Friends may call at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home on Sunday where the family will receive friends from 1-3 and 6-8 pm.
