Ida G. Petroff 81 of Bucyrus died Sunday evening at home. She had been in failing health since late August. Ida was born December 26, 1927 in New Athens Illinois to Theodore and Elizabeth (Glaus) Koesterer, both deceased. She was first married to Harold Hanlon, then to Boris S. Petroff who died in may of 1995. Also preceding her in death are Brothers Lawrence, Theodore, Lloyd, and Cletus Koesterer, and Sisters Stella Teal, Elizabeth Koesterer, and Theresa Duncan.

Surviving are Children Harold Hanlon Jr of Steubenville OH, David L Hanlon and Pamela A Light both of Bucyrus, and Dennis J. Hanlon of Attica, 9 Grand and 2 Step Grandchildren, 8 Great Grand, and 3 Great Great Grandchildren, Brother Martin Koesterer of Illinois and Sister Clara Neu of Texas.

Ida attended schools in Illinois and came to Bucyrus in 1948. She was employed at ITT North Electric 32 years retiring in 1989 then worked at MAPA in Willard 3 years retiring in 1993. Most recently she was the "Biscuit Lady" at Hardees until her health began to fail. She was a Member of First Christian Church, and was a Red Cross Volunteer at Bucyrus Community Hospital.

Friends may call Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home where services will be held Thursday at 10:30AM with Pastor Brad Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.
