Hubert F. Dyer 64 of Bucyrus died Tuesday morning at Heartland following a long illness. He was born February 18, 1945 in Rock Run Vanceburg, Kentucky to Mickel W and Dorothy M (Cooley) both deceased. Also preceding him in death were 4 Infant siblings. In 1967 he married Linda Hart who remains a friend. On August 27, 2006 he married long time friend of 33 years Connie (Oberlander) Denzer who also survives.
Also surviving are Kathleen (Brian) Knecht, and William Dyer both of Bucyrus, Grandchildren Michele and Jason Knecht, Brothers Richard (Karen) Dyer of Bucyrus, Ronald Dyer of Washington, Sisters Catherine Liles of Bucyrus, Betty Entler of Florida, Faye Zornes of NC, and numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Hubert was a Veteran serving in the Army from 1962-1965, and received his GED from the Army. He worked at Swan Rubber Co as a Laborer 37 years, and enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola items, ball cards, and Zippo lighters.
Friends may call at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home Friday from 2-4 and 6-8PM. There will be no services, and his cremains will be buried in Union at a later date. Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Cancer Society. E-condolences may be to munzpirnstill.com
