Harold G. Coulter, 85, of 1405 Cullen Court Bucyrus died early Tuesday morning at his residence. He had been battling cancer for almost three years.
Born December 31, 1923 in Whetstone Township, he was the son of the late Howard and Lavina (Klahn) Coulter. Harold is also preceded in death by a brother James Coulter.

He is survived by his wife of over 54 years Lucille Edgington whom he married Dec. 16, 1954. Also surviving is a son David Coulter of Bucyrus, a granddaughter Amber Sterohlein of Orlando, Fla., four great grandchildren Autumn, Brice, Collette and Daviar and a sister Wilma Oberlander of Bucyrus.

An area resident for his entire life, he attended Bucyrus Schools and worked for over thirty years at Swan retiring in 1989. Harold was a member for over fifty years of the First Church of the Nazarene. He taught Sunday school and was active with the walking program.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday Dec. 4, 2009 at 11AM in the First Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Dr. Ray LaSalle officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to HomeCare Matters or the First Church of the Nazarene in care of the funeral home.
