Genny L. Steele, 74, of 3863 St. Rt. 4 Bucyrus died late Thursday evening July 9, 2009 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. Born March 29, 1935 in Bell County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Elsie (Jones) Goins. Also preceding her in death are two brothers Eugene and Kenneth Goins.

Genny is survived by her husband of twenty years Walter L. Steele whom she married December 23, 1988. In addition, she is survived by a son David Barker of Bucyrus, three step-daughters; Darlene Steele of Springfield, MO., Leona Hilliker and Janet Pickle both of Ozark, MO, two grandchildren David Barker Jr. & Rebecca Lynn Barker, four step-grandchildren Chelsea, Katie, Ben and Jonathon, five brothers; Harold Goins of Jacksonville, FL., Doyal (Faye) Goins of Galion, Merrill Goins of Wooster, Edward Goins of Crestline, William Arthur Goins, a sister Dorothy (Russell) Feldhake of N.C. and numerous nieces and nephews. She attended school in Crestline, drove truck with Walter and was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle of Oceola.

Friends will be received Sunday from 2 to 4 at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home. Memorial Serivce will be Tuesday July 14, 2009 at the Pentecostal Tabernacle of Oceola at 11AM with Pastor Carl Angel officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at munzpirnstill.com.
