Florence L. Laughbaum, 88 yrs. of age, and a resident of Altercare for the past 3 1/2 yrs. died on Thursday morning in Bucyrus Community Hospital following a brief illness. Mrs. Laughbaum was born on Nov. 29, 1920 in Clyde, OH to the late Lester and Caroline (Silverthorn) Robinson. She was preceded in death by husband Arthur John Wake as well as second husband Burnell Laughbaum.

Mrs. Laughbaum is survived by children; Ardith Wake, Mansfield; Hertha (Mike) Hetzel, Bucyrus; Susan (Roger) Monroe, Bucyrus; Jennifer Laughbaum, Columbus; Thomas A. (Kathi) Laughbaum, Bucyrus; 6 grandchildren; Joann (Joe) Moreno, Galion; Heidi (Mike) Wurm, Bucyrus; Clifton (Lana) Hetzel, Bucyrus; Carrie (Kolton) Bayless, Bucyrus; Ian Frost, Columbus; Andrew (Jalena) Monroe, Upper Sandusky; 12 great grandchildren; 1 brother Thomas Robinson of MS. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by sister Ruth Fissel, infant sister Gladys, and 2 brothers Robert and Russell Robinson.

Florence was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Bucyrus. She graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1938 and enjoyed art, particularly drawing and painting, as well as being very devoted to her family.

At Florence's request there will be no formal calling hours or funeral. Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Bucyrus Little Theatre through the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home and expressions of sympathy can be left at munzpirnstill.com
