Denver M. Lowery, 70 yrs. of age, of 339 Lincoln Ave., Bucyrus died at 12:55 pm Tuesday Sept. 29, 2009 in Marion General Hospital following an extended illness. Mr. Lowery was born April 7, 1939 in Bucyrus to the late Thomas B. and Mabel (Deisler) Lowery. He was married October 3, 1965 to Gwendolyn Ann (Lutz) Lowery who preceded him in death on May 15, 1996.

Mr. Lowery is survived by daughter Denise( John) Bryden, Bucyrus; son Matthew Lowery, Bucyrus; grandchildren Bryan and Ashley Bryden; and 2 great grandchildren Cayley and Bryley.

Denver began working in 1961 at Hydraulic Press Manufacturing (HPM) in Mt. Gilead and retired in 1998. He lived his entire life in Bucyrus and was a graduate of Bucyrus High School.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday evening at 7:00 pm in the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Rebon officiating, private burial will be held in Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 5:00 pm until the time of service.
