Daryl W Ehmann 76 of Bucyrus died Saturday afternoon at Bucyrus Community Hospital following a brief illness. He was born July 12, 1933 in Crawford County to Winfield an Edith (Sand) Ehmann both deceased.
He is also preceded in death by Sisters Barbara Ehmann and Nancy Suttles. On December 6, 1953 he married Geneva K. Haney who survives. Also surviving are Daughters Jill (Duane) Lust and Krista (Daniel) Gerhart of Marion, GrandchildrenKayla, Brandon,and Brittany Lust, Angela Lust Truka, Lindsay Gerhart Slater, Bo and Trent Gerhart, Great Grandchildren Brennan Truka, Logan and Liam Slater, Brother John (Mary) Ehmann of Galion, and Sister Cheryl (Dr. Dan) Ulmer of Attica.
He graduated from Whetstone High School Class of 1952. Daryl farmed over 25 years, and then was employed by Ohio Locomotive Crane in Shipping and Receiving retiring in 1998, and worked the Thursday night Sales at producers livestock. A Member of Good Hope Lutheran Church, he was an Usher, and had received his 50 Year Member Award form the Bucyrus Moose Lodge, was Treasurer for several years in the Crawford Lanes Bowling League, and was a Member of the ASCS Board.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Munz-Pirnstill Funeral Home where the Moose Tribute of Service will be recited at 7:45 PM. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11 AM in Good Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor Harold L. Hasenauer officiating. Burial
will follow in Oakwood Cemetery
