Dale M. Beers 90 of Bucyrus, died Wednesday night at Heartland. He was born in Mansfield August 10, 1919 to Martin E and Minta Belle (Swaidner) Beer both deceased. On July 14, 1946 Dale married lois (Halliwill) who died March 25, 2003.Also preceding him in death are Brother Carl R "Cy" Beer, Brother-in-Law Paul Brown and Nephew Ross Thornton.

He attended Center Hall one room school and Madison High School 4 years. During WWII he served 1943-1945 in the 14th Super Construction Battalion of the Navy Seabees, also C.B.M.U. 562 Maintenance Unit. From 1946-1982 he was with A.J. Halliwill John Deere Farm Equipment and Heavy Hardware Store in Bucyrus. He was a Member of Martin Luther Lutheran Church, and Masonic Lodge 139.

Surviving are Niece and Nephew Tom and Valerie Brown of Bucyrus, and Niece Mary Thornton of Toledo,Sister-in-Law Grace Brown, and Great Nieces and Great Nephews.

Friends may call Sunday from 1-3 and 6-8 at the Munz Pirnstill Funeral Home where a Masonic Service will be held at 7:45 PM. Services will be held Monday at 10:30AM with Rev Steve Voelker officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwwod Cemetery with Military Honors by American Legion Post 181.
